Our firm has six licensed land surveyors who understand industry standards and business trends. Our goal is to provide the highest quality product possible, and we have the resources and largest library available to provide our clients with accurate and user-friendly survey plans. These elements have been the success of our company since its inception in 1872.

Chicago Guarantee Survey Company is the oldest Survey Company in the Chicago area. The company was founded by Emil Rudolph who was instrumental in saving records from being destroyed in the Great Chicago Fire. Mr. Rudolph served as County Surveyor and President of the Chicago Guarantee Surveying Company during the 1890s. In 1912, he merged with several survey companies to form the Chicago Guarantee Survey Company.

During the early 1900's, the company laid out the Northwestern Elevated, straightened the Chicago River and surveyed 90% of the Loop properties. The company was also instrumental in providing surveys for the Chicago subway system, City of Chicago, and prepared the first Air Right Subdivision for the land where the Merchandise Mart currently stands at Franklin and Wacker Drive in Chicago.
